"This class really made me think, about my role in education, and how I viewed my students. I didn't feel like I was being bullied or talked down to. I felt safe, willing to participate, and I wanted to reflect on what we were learning.....You have a wonderful approach to the subject that makes people want to learn about a very difficult, and at times, uncomfortable topic. But classes like these are needed. If we are going to improve as a society we must tackle these difficult issues. Thank you so much for the welcoming class and understanding that we are all on different levels. I can't wait to take additional classes from you in the future," DEI MATTERS Educator Participant
