The Purpose and The Invitation

The Equity Prof LLC is dedicated to educating on educational equity for the purpose of creating educational equity professionals. Many people are eager to learn more about racial and social justice, and educational equity but have not had access to professional learning of this nature. The need to create more spaces for critical thinking and understanding on racial and social justice and other DEI matters has always existed. That need continues to grow and educators are looking to gain pedagogical content knowledge and strategies to promote their professional and personal development. On the frontlines of the classrooms, many educators name feeling underprepared to meet the moments that face them and many students name needing the adults in the room to be most prepared. Let's support educators and students by increasing access to pedagogical content knowledge and strategies for all educators, students, PK-16 schools and communities.
